Welcome Home, Coach Glen Kimble! ⚾

Lufkin ISD is excited to announce the hiring of Glen Kimble as the new Head Baseball Coach at Lufkin High School.

Coach Kimble returns to his alma mater following an extraordinary coaching career that includes more than 500 career wins and an overall record of 509-284-4. His teams earned 13 district championships, and he was named District Coach of the Year 13 times. Under his leadership, Hudson reached the Regional Finals in 2005, the Regional Semifinals in 2006, 2007, and 2021, along with 11 additional Regional Quarterfinal appearances.

A proud Lufkin High School graduate, Coach Kimble played collegiate baseball at the University of Houston and Stephen F. Austin State University before beginning his coaching career at Lufkin ISD. He now returns home, bringing decades of championship experience and a proven commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
