Herty Primary

Herty Primary, home of the Hornets, serves K–2 students. Originally built in 1948, with additional construction in 1971 and 1981, the campus saw its original building demolished in 2008. Today, Herty focuses on providing a strong academic foundation for early learners and specializes in supporting high-needs special education, including the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD), offering targeted services alongside traditional instruction to ensure every student grows, thrives, and buzzes with confidence and success.
