W.H. Brandon Elementary School

Brandon Elementary, home of the Bears, serves students in grades 3–5 in Lufkin ISD. Built in 1982 and named for (William Herman) W.H. Brandon, who led Dunbar High School as principal from 1924–1940. Brandon offers strong academic instruction, including Gifted and Talented services, supported by passionate teachers, staff, and a campus spirit that challenges students to learn, grow, and lead, instilling pride that lasts long after they leave, because once a Brandon Bear, always a Brandon Bear.
