Lufkin ISD was honored to celebrate a very special achievement for one of our students! 🇺🇸✈️
Our Panther community proudly gathered to recognize Isabella Meggiato, who received an Air Force Military Appointment on Friday, April 10th in the Tom Jack Lucas Auditorium.
The ceremony included a beautiful National Anthem performance by LHS Choir student Yisselle Castro, the pledges led by Student Council Secretary Caroline Hicks, and a warm welcome from LHS Athletic Director Kristen Belshaw. Guests were introduced by LHS Principal Julie McManus, followed by an inspiring message from mentor and coach Aby Goff.
Congressman Pete Sessions delivered a powerful address, and Isabella shared heartfelt remarks reflecting on her journey and future of service. The ceremony concluded with a closing benediction by Reverend Randall Green.
Lufkin ISD was proud to host distinguished guests, staff, family, and community members who came together to celebrate this incredible milestone and honor Isabella’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving our nation.
