During Thursday evening’s Lufkin ISD Board of Trustees meeting, the district recognized Bob Harris, longtime Abe Martin Stadium clock operator and dedicated Lufkin ISD educator.
Harris began his Lufkin ISD career at the original Panther Stadium in 1971. After teaching at Lufkin Junior High for several years, he spent 35 years at Lufkin High School before retiring.
For more than five decades, Mr. Harris has been a familiar face at Abe Martin Stadium, and his dedication to Lufkin ISD and Panther Athletics has made a lasting impact.
Thank you, Mr. Harris, for 55 years of Panther Pride!
