Last week, two Lufkin High School students—sophomore Martin Cruz Silva and senior Braydon Nava—attended the 60th annual Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference in Nashville, competing against 6,900 students from 25 states and four countries.
Martin competed in Computer Modeling, presenting his RPG character “Torvak the Ogre.” Braydon competed in Promotional Photography, earning 4th place out of 285 competitors, and also received his Entrepreneurship/Small Business industry certification.
