📱 Lufkin ISD is transitioning to the Lufkin ISD TX App for communication this year!
As part of this transition, you may receive a text message or email from Apptegy, ThrillShare, or Connect inviting you to join Rooms. These messages are legitimate and are NOT spam. We encourage parents, guardians, teachers, and students to follow the instructions in the message and join Rooms to stay connected.
Through the Lufkin ISD TX App, we will be able to send important text messages, emails, and mass notifications to keep our families and staff informed. The app will also use Rooms to provide direct communication between parents, teachers, and students.
💬 Rooms will replace Remind and work in much the same way. Families and staff will be able to receive updates, communicate directly, and stay connected with their school and teachers, all in one convenient platform. Rooms can also be accessed through a web browser, so you can stay connected even if you don’t have the app on your phone.
📲 If you receive a message from Apptegy, ThrillShare, or Connect asking you to join Rooms, please know that it is an official Lufkin ISD communication and not spam.
