Lufkin Middle School proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of our 7th and 8th grade band students at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest.
The LMS Band earned a 1st Division rating in both stage performance and sight reading—an accomplishment that awards them the distinguished title of Sweepstakes Band.
This honor reflects the dedication, discipline, and countless hours of preparation by our students, along with the leadership and guidance of their directors. Their commitment to excellence was evident in every performance.
