Sara Pariseau Hiring

Lufkin Independent School District is excited to welcome Sara Pariseau to the team!

Sara Pariseau joined the district in January as the new Director of Strategic Educator Development and has already made a strong impact. She brings extensive experience in district- and state-level educational leadership, with a dedicated focus on educator growth, continuous system improvement, and advancing student outcomes.

Since joining Lufkin ISD, Sara has hit the ground running and has quickly become a valued asset to the team.

Prior to joining Lufkin ISD, Sara worked at the Texas Education Agency, where she supported school systems across the state in implementing large-scale improvement initiatives. Her work included partnering with superintendents and district leadership teams, managing cross-functional projects, and leading strategic efforts to strengthen instructional quality and educator effectiveness. She has also held leadership roles at the campus and district levels, with experience spanning curriculum and instruction, special education, compliance, human resources, and professional learning.

Sara is passionate about developing educators, building strong systems, and supporting schools in creating meaningful opportunities for all students. She is excited to bring her experience home to East Texas and is deeply committed to partnering with Lufkin ISD educators, families, and community members to support the district’s vision and continued growth.
