Lufkin Middle School

Lufkin Middle School, home of the Panthers, serves students in grades 6–8 as they transition from elementary to high school. With new construction completed in 2023, LMS provides a modern learning environment designed to support academic growth, student engagement, and expanding interests. The campus offers traditional learning alongside GT and advanced courses, STEM and CTE pathways, Dual Language/ESL instruction, and full Special Education services. A wide range of extracurricular activities, student clubs, and organizations help learners explore new interests, build leadership skills, and develop Panther pride. Through strong instruction, meaningful opportunities, and a supportive school culture, LMS prepares students to learn, lead, and succeed at Lufkin High School and beyond.
