LHS Top 20 students surprise their Educators of Influence
The Lufkin High School Top 20 students surprised their Educators of Influence with an invitation to the Panthers of Prestige banquet that will be held on May 21st.

LHS robotics team PANTHERBOTS: STATE BOUND!
The LHS Pantherbots are ranked 24th out of 183 teams in Texas. The competition begins this Thursday through Saturday in Austin, Texas.

The LHS Panther Players theater students are advancing to Bi-District competition with their one-act play, The Glass Menagerie, written by Tennessee Williams. The Bi-District event will be in Texarkana on March 27th.

Day in the Life of Brian Hollers
Having a master plumber on staff is a necessity especially with the day-to-day service needed on a district with more than 1,000 restrooms. Brian Hollers, Lead Plumber, has been with Lufkin ISD for four years and enjoys the challenge of service plumbing.

Burley Primary hosted Math Night to engage students and parents alike in fun math activities. Burley Primary teachers along with ADAC, BancorpSouth Bank, and Ellen Trout Zoo, created an event geared toward math games to enhance problem solving and critical thinking ideas.
