Stephen F. Austin State University welcomed 72 LHS seniors at SFA Signing Day
“The university matters, and I’m so happy you chose SFA, but really it’s about you,” said SFASU Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Lorenzo Smith, to the LHS seniors.

“What I love about Lufkin ISD is that we not only have prepared seniors before now to consider their options but also provided a way to make their dreams happen,” Torres said.
Eight LHS seniors sign with Prairie View A&M University
Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) held a special signing day for eight Lufkin High School seniors held in the Tom Jack Lucas Auditorium on the Lufkin High School campus.

Students, parents and staff alike had a fun evening at the first annual Kurth Cub Campout at the Kurth Primary campus.
