The Purchasing Department is responsible for providing fair and accurate purchasing guidelines and procedures to the public for projects, goods and services for the district. The department issues bid/proposal and quotation solicitations as needed and all while ensuring compliance with purchasing laws, statutes and policies related to public school districts.


Requests for Proposals

Lufkin ISD will be accepting Competitive Sealed Proposals for its Worker’s Compensation, Property & Casualty insurance coverage. A proposer’s questionnaire may be obtained from the district’s consultant, Robert V. Reim Company, by e-mailing bobreim@robertreim.com. Completed questionnaires must be returned by 2 p.m. May 12, 2022. All proposers will be qualified and insurance companies will be assigned. Proposals must be submitted prior to 2 p.m. June 23, 2022. The district’s current coverage expires Sept. 1, 2022.
