“Gentle Giant” T.J. Turner recognized with naming of the Indoor Athletic Training Center at Lufkin High School
After a ribbon cutting in front of the facility, everyone clapped and cheered and T.J.’s wife Kathy said that her husband would just be tickled to know that the Lufkin community did this for him.
Purple will “Reign” in 2023-24 school year
“Our motto this year will be “Purple Will Reign” because we are determined to be successful and will “reign” in the new school year. See you Aug. 8,” said Superintendent Lynn Torres.
