Lufkin Middle School students move into new cafeteria first day back tomorrow
Today was a soft opening for the new LMS cafeteria that was part of the $75 million bond the community voted for in 2018. The LMS Student Nutrition staff cooked lunch for the Student Nutrition Services staff and Admin team. Tomorrow will be the real test when the students arrive.
QuestBridge match: LHS senior Ian Falcon is going to Columbia University

Lufkin ISD receives “A” for financial accountablity report
The “Superior Achievement” rating is the state’s highest, demonstrating the quality of Lufkin ISD’s financial management and reporting system. Lufkin ISD received a score of 100 out of 100 points.
TEA updates will change Dual Language program enrollment process
A Texas Education Agency (TEA) update will change the enrollment process for dual language programs across the state.
