The judges at the East Texas Regional Science Fair in Kilgore in February were so impressed with Cailyn’s project that she received a special invitation, bypassing state competition to enter the international science fair.

“I am ecstatic about the opportunity to create partnerships and support programs for the Lufkin ISD students and families in my new role as the Project Director for the Stronger Connections Program,” Dr. Johnson said. 

Everyone has a story. The first Lufkin Living Library Event made that evident. The event was a unique collection of “human books” held on Monday evening at the Museum of East Texas.
