Board approves 2020-2021 school calendar
At the February 13th school board meeting, the 2020-2021 school calendar was approved by the Lufkin ISD Board of Trustees.

When I think of the Lufkin ISD mission to provide exceptional learning experiences for our students, the 10th-grade Gifted and Talented Integrated Studies Program trip to New York City immediately comes to mind.

185 Medals earned at Solo & Ensemble Competition
The Lufkin High School Panther Band showed up in a big way at the Solo & Ensemble competition at Stephen F. Austin State University this past weekend where they took home 185 medals!
