The event for Parents for African-American Academic Success at the J.D.’s Center of Hope was well attended by parents, community members, and Lufkin ISD staff.

Lufkin ISD is seeking input on the development of the 2020-2021 school calendar. Keep in mind, this is only a proposed draft of the calendar and the final calendar must be approved by the board.

STEM 4th Grade Exploration Day was filled with imagination and technology geared at outer space. With a humongous floor map of the moon and a portable planetarium, the day was mind blowing.
