Senator Robert Nichols came to Angelina County on Tuesday to speak with the six area school superintendents about all things education. He surveyed the needs of the school districts and discussed concerns leading into the legislative issues in January.

Board approves 2020-2021 budget in special called meeting
The budget-approved amount is $78,256,520. Instruction will account for 55% of the budget while 11% will be for plant maintenance and operations.
