Free Shuttle Bus to Playoff Game Saturday
A free shuttle bus will be available to the game for Panther fans on Saturday from the Lufkin ISD Transportation Department located at 811 S. Timberland Drive. With limited parking available at SFA on Saturday, the District wanted to provide this free shuttle service to the community.

Six students across East Texas won $500 in the “It Pays to Make A’s” program at Huntington State Bank, one being from Burley Primary.

Long snapper with prosthetic leg helps Lufkin freshmen kick go-ahead field goal
Isaac Huerta, a 15-year-old Lufkin High School student who has a prosthetic leg, wanted to play football simply because his buddies did. On Thursday night, he helped his football buddies score a go-ahead field goal in the last game of their freshman season.
