On Tuesday, May 6th, the Lufkin Education Foundation held its annual Grant Patrol. Thanks to the support of the talented Lufkin High School cheerleaders and drumline, the day was both exciting and rewarding. The Foundation distributed 28 grants across the Lufkin Independent School District, totaling to approximately $69,755.32. These grants will empower teachers to enhance their students’ education and further their academic growth. Congratulations to the deserving teachers, campuses, and students who will benefit from these opportunities. See photos from the exciting day below!
