On Wednesday, March 18th, the Lufkin High School Chapter of the National Honor Society held its induction ceremony at Tom Jack Lucas Auditorium, welcoming 75 juniors and 15 seniors. For the first time, scholarships were awarded to deserving members. Officers Reagan McDonald (President), Miley McHaney (Vice President), and Alexis Pelletier (Secretary) conducted the ceremony. Superintendent Dr. James Hockenberry and administrators congratulated the inductees and presented NHS patches. Daisy Crain and Reagan McDonald received the General Member and Officer Scholarships. Congratulations to all new inductees and scholarship recipients!
