Brenda Ehrlich, fourth grade teacher at Coston Elementary, was recognized as the Outstanding Cooperating Teacher for Fall 2023 from Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU). She was nominated by her SFASU clinical intern Natalie Eddy. The Clinical Internship program at SFASU is a collaboration with the Lufkin ISD School District to prepare future teachers for the classroom.
