The Angelina Arts Alliance and its sponsors made it possible for several theater and choir students from Lufkin High School and other area campuses (including Angelina College and Stephen F. Austin State University) to work in a masterclass led by actress/singer Kristin Chenoweth on Friday afternoon in the Temple Theater on the AC campus. Chenoweth, best known for her Tony Award-winning role as Glinda in the Broadway production of Wicked, worked one-on-one with the students. She appeared in the sold-out “An Evening With Kristin Chenoweth” at the Temple Theater Saturday night as part of the Angelina Arts Alliance’s performing arts series.
