Sixteen Lufkin High School students are heading to state competition in Criminal Justice in April. According to Johnnie Shepherd, criminal justice teacher, this was a year of firsts.

“We had the first all female SWAT team,” he said, “first all male building search team, first to medal in all four branches of Criminal Justice and the first year every competitor is going to state whether in one event or both of their events.”
