The Administrative Services Department recognized four employees who have shown leadership and dedication in their positions.
“We are so proud of these four employees who are such good examples of hard work and dedication on a daily basis. We are thankful for the job they do for the district,” said Daniel Spikes, Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services.
LaNedra Harrison, SNS Specialist, Garrett Primary
4 years with District
“During a time when staffing has been an issue for our department, LaNedra has exhibited great teamwork and willingness to step up and help wherever there is a need. She is incredibly dependable, and we are blessed to have her on our team,” said Amanda Calk, SNS Director.
Lawrence Johnson – Preventative Maintenance Technician
11 years with the District
“As a preventive maintenance technician, Mr. Johnson has the responsibility to inspect every bus in our fleet to ensure it meets safety standards. This is a tedious and important job, as it requires attention to detail to keep our busses in safe working status. He also drives the ACE bus daily, which is a tall task, and does it very well. We are proud to have Mr. Johnson on our team and he is so valuable to our school district,” said Tiffany Sootoo, Director of Transportation.
Lynnette Kiel, SNS Specialist, Burley Primary
4 years with the district
“Ms. Kiel was chosen because of her dependability and dedication to her coworkers and the students of Burley Primary. She’s always willing to go above and beyond to get the job done,” said Amanda Calk, SNS Director.
Sammy Humphries, – Assist. Head Custodian at LMS
15 years with the district
Mr. Humphries has been a real asset to us. He is currently an assistant Head Custodian and helps us cover schools when a Head Custodian is out. He also has a great knowledge of job duties which he shares with co-workers and staff, said Johnnie Ross, Maintenance Director.
