Sally Little, 6th grader, competed in the Zone 7 Spelling Bee hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Lufkin on Saturday, February 5th. The Bee consisted of 14 rounds. This was Sally’s first year as the individuals speller. Sally came in 2nd place and will serve as the alternate for the Regional Bee hosted by Houston Public Media. She was honored today, February 9, at a special luncheon and presented a medal and trophy for her top 2 finish. Proud parents are George and Karen Little and Spelling Coach Sydney White.Congratulations!!
