Hall Henderson is sworn in to the board.
At the May board meeting, Hall Henderson, Scott Skelton and Matt Knight were sworn in as Lufkin ISD board members after being elected to the board during the May school board election. Scott Skelton made a motion receiving unanimous approval to reorganize the board with the following slate of officers:
Hall Henderson, Board President
Kristi Gay, Vice President
Allyson Langston, Secretary

Mr. Henderson praised the work of Past President Scott Skelton who has been the board president during the bond election and the recent pandemic.
In other business, a slide show was presented to the board of outstanding students that typically would have been recognized at school board meetings during the school year but were not able due to Covid-19 protocols.
