The Lufkin Middle School 6th grade STEM students participated in the Adopt a Second Grade event today. The topic for the event was “Structure and Properties of Matter.” The students enjoyed being mentors and demonstrating their leadership skills to the 2nd graders. The LMS students took lessons to Herty Primary, Burley Primary, Trout Primary, Dunbar Primary, Kurth Primary, and Slack Elementary. Below are pictures from the Kurth Primary campus.
