Creating a safe and secure environment for our students, staff and visitors is a main priority for Lufkin ISD. Schools are places of learning, creative play and innovation, not a place for fear and suspicion.
Come hear about the new security measures, meet our newest member of the Lufkin ISD police department, and receive an update on the district’s building projects. Childcare is available and refreshments will be served.
His day begins at 5:30 a.m. even though the job doesn’t officially begin until 6:30 a.m., but he gets there early to help schools get what they need before the school day begins.
