What’s it like to be on the stock market floor? Students from Lufkin ISD got to experience a high-tech immersive simulation of the stock market through the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge. Lufkin High School had 15 of the 57 teams participate. According to the JA website: Junior Achievement (JA) empowers young people to own their economic success. Their volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and to reach their potential.
