Julie McManus, principal at Lufkin High School, proudly announced that $6,393,251 was the total amount in scholarships awarded to the class of 2025. Of this amount, $186,000 was awarded by the Lufkin High School Alumni Association, distributed as 124 scholarships of $1,500 each. Other scholarship contributions came from colleges and universities, individual scholarship programs, and community donors.
