Lufkin ISD introduces Dr. Matthew Pariseau as the new Chief Innovation Officer (CIO). Dr. Pariseau joins from Spring ISD, where he serves in the same role. Lufkin ISD’s membership in the Texas Education Agency’s Great Schools Network requires a CIO, who leads research and design, scales innovative ideas districtwide, and sets the vision and strategy for Innovative Model Schools and initiatives.
Dr. Hockenberry highlights Dr. Pariseau’s 20 years of experience, calling him a gifted leader with an extraordinary skillset that benefits students, the District, and the community. His presence immediately strengthens the district, and he is described as the kind of hire who brings the value of multiple roles in one.
