The Purchasing Department is responsible for providing fair and accurate purchasing guidelines and procedures to the public for projects, goods and services for the district. The department issues bid/proposal and quotation solicitations as needed and all while ensuring compliance with purchasing laws, statutes and policies related to public school districts.

Property, Liability, Auto & Worker’s Comp insurance (Closing date — 2 p.m. June 27, 2019)

Lufkin ISD will be accepting Competitive Sealed Proposals for its Property, Casualty & Worker’s Comp insurance coverages. A proposer’s questionnaire may be obtained from the District’s consultant Robert V. Reim Company, by e-mailing bobreim@robertreim.com. Questionnaires must be returned by 2:00 p.m., May 9, 2019. All proposers will be qualified and insurance companies will be assigned. Proposals must be submitted prior to 2:00 p.m., June 27, 2019. The District’s current insurance expires September 1, 2019.
