The 21st Century Texas ACE Lufkin ISD afterschool program is partnering with East Texas Cancer Alliance Of Hope. The students at each of the afterschool programs have been creating get well cards for cancer patients. Some clients have put the cards in their rooms. One keeps it in his car to give him inspiration when he drives. Another says he has newfound encouragement to keep fighting. These students are making a huge impact on these patients with a little kindness.
