Happy Birthday! Celebrate your birthday while raising money for a good cause — the Lufkin ISD Education Foundation!!
Every day more than 45 million people give birthday wishes on Facebook, which is why Facebook is excited to give people the opportunity to create fundraisers for their birthday and make it even more meaningful.
Two weeks before their birthday, people will see a message from Facebook in their News Feeds giving them the option to create a fundraiser for their birthday. They can create a fundraiser for any of the 750,000 US nonprofits available for fundraising on Facebook. Creator’s friends will receive a notification inviting them to support the cause in honor of their friend’s special day.
You will have the option to select Lufkin Education Foundation. All online donations will be mailed to the Education Foundation and go toward funding grants for innovative teacher ideas at Lufkin ISD.
