The annual Turkey Trot, an event that partners Lufkin High School athletes with special needs children in the district, was held at Lufkin High School today. There were 160 participants from kindergarten through 8th grade. The event started with a fun run. Breakfast was served and then activities concluded with lots of outdoor games and fun on the John Outlaw Football Field. The special needs students and the athletes alike had a fun-filled morning together.
