The event last night for Parents for African-American Academic Success at the J.D.’s Center of Hope was well attended by parents, community members, and Lufkin ISD staff. The focus of the evening was all about academics and educated parents about the academic opportunities Lufkin ISD has for our students. The event was hosted by the Generation A program and the J.D.’s Center of Hope.

If you want to get involved and join other parents of the group Parents for African-American Academic Success, email Sheila Adams, Executive Director of Communications and Public Relations at
