Allyson Langston was sworn in by Judge Bob Inselmann at the May board meeting.
At the May Lufkin ISD School Board Meeting, Allyson Langston and Don Muhlbach were sworn in to serve another term on the school board. Both were unopposed and will continue their roles as secretary for Mrs. Langston and vice president for Mr. Muhlbach. The board also unanimously decided to reinstate Mr. Scott Skelton as the school board president.
National Merit Students, National Hispanic Recognition students, Dual Language Scholarship recipients, Pantherbots, LHS Art Scholarship winners, Duke TIP state student and Accounting state winners, were all recognized at the May board meeting for their successes.
