Deputy Superintendent, Lynn Torres, explained the footprint of the LMS campus should the bond pass.

Parents and community members joined Superintendent Dr. LaTonya Goffney and LISD administrative staff for a tour and bond presentation at Lufkin Middle School. The tour pointed out issues with safety and security as well as repairs that would be costly without the passing of a bond. The bond is for $75 million dollars and would include 80% on a new middle school and 20% on a new multi-purpose gym and athletic facilities at the high school.
