The Lufkin High School campus was evacuated on Wednesday after school at approximately 4:20 p.m. after someone found inappropriate words in a bathroom. The campus has been cleared by the Lufkin ISD police.
The Lufkin ISD Administration takes this type of prank very seriously and will prosecute the offender to the extent of the law. The Student Code of Conduct explicitly states that this type of prank is an expellable offense.
The school district is offering a $1,000 reward to the first person to offer information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people involved in this prank. Please contact the Lufkin ISD Police Department at 630-4182 with information.
