Cindy Tierney, principal of Anderson Elementary, was selected as the January 2018 recipient of the “Leader of the Pack” award by the Lufkin ISD administration for her dedicated guidance and innovative ideas. Some of those ideas include the Anderson Eagle Network, the campus’ own student-led broadcast and the degree system allowing students to earn “bachelors, masters and doctorate” degrees. Mrs.Tierney has been with the district since 2000. Congratulations, Mrs. Tierney, and thank you for your service at Lufkin ISD.
